We will be distributing water in Kiwanis cups to the participants in the kids Fun Run and helping to present the awards.

Dr. Jim Roberts Vice President of the Community Education Coalition will be our guest speaker.  Dick Boyce will be his host.

The Columbus Meridian Kiwanis club will host a fish fry at the Columbus American Legion from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 4th. Donations will be accepted for the meal which includes fish fillets or a fish sandwich, baked beans, coleslaw, and a drink. The event will be a fundraiser to support the community service projects of the Meridian Kiwanis Club. Meridian Kiwanis is a Community Service organization focused on helping children in our community to learn, experience, dream, grow, and succeed. We sponsor Key Clubs at Columbus East and Hauser High Schools, We sponsor the K-BUG (Kiwanis Bring Up Grades program in the BCSC Elementary Schools. We contribute our time, talents, and money to many events and organizations throughout the year. We also support Riley Hospital for Children. Dine in or Drive-Thru. And Delivery is available for orders of 10 or more dinners.
